Dear Treasure Coast Disc Golf Club Members,

As 2021 comes to a close, the Treasure Coast Disc Golf Club Officers and Board want to thank every one of you for another successful year.

With everyone’s help and support, this past year we’ve been able to:

  •  Expand the disc golf course at Halpatiokee to a full 18-basket course with signage and concrete tee pads;

  • Add a second set of concrete tee pads at Rotary Park;

  • Revise our website to include weekly results from league play, agendas and minutes from the Board meetings and a list of our Club members;

  • Became a PDGA-affiliated Club, which saves you $5 on your PDGA Membership;

  •  Host four PDGA-sanctioned tournaments at two of our courses;

  • Send local players to compete in the USDGC Doubles Finals in South Carolina;

  •  Sponsor a team of our best players to compete against other clubs around the state in WAR;

  • Work with St. Lucie County’s Environmental Resources Department to get additional mowing at Gordy Road;
    Convince the City of Port St. Lucie to include an 18-basket disc golf course in the master plan for the proposed new 185-acre regional park in Tradition;

  • Persuade the City of Fort Pierce to provide the space and funding for a new 18-basket disc golf course at the Indian Hills Recreation Area, off Savannah Road. The baskets have been ordered and construction will begin once the baskets are delivered.

Disc golf is growing nationwide and we’ve seen a huge increase in new players locally - from new members coming out to weekly league play to families and new players out using our courses.

All of this is possible due to your support, participating in tournament and league play; volunteering to help maintain our courses and your financial contributions through dues/sponsorships. Because of the pandemic and our excellent financial standing, the Club waved membership dues for existing members in 2021.  As we enter 2022, we need everyone’s support again. Membership renewals will begin Jan. 1, 2022. Current members can renew for $15. New memberships are $20.

Your TCDG membership gives you discounts on local tournaments, makes you eligible to the full ace fund and provides the Club with the financial support to continue to maintain our courses, hosts tournaments/events and grow the sport.

Please renew your 12-month membership before Jan. 31, 2022. You can renew online by CLICKING HERE. If you wish to pay cash to one of our league TDs, you can do that as well. But please be sure to use the online registration link to make sure we have all your correct contact information, including an email address. It is essential for us to keep an updated membership list with correct email addresses, so we can notify you about important Club news, including events and tournaments.

Again, THANK YOU for your continued support of Treasure Coast Disc Golf,

Milton O’Steen, Jr.
President of TCDG
