Dear Treasure Coast Disc Golfers:

Rather than reflecting on what you haven't done as this year closes, think of this new year as an opportunity. Just like the best disc golf course – the paths in life always have a few curves in the fairway.

The Treasure Coast Disc Golf Board Members want to thank every one of our members for making this another successful year. Thanks to our members, this past year we accomplished a lot:

  • Purchased and installed a second set of permanent baskets at Gordy Road

  • Provided St. Lucie County Libraries and Indian River Parks with disc golf bags for people to check out and learn the game

  • Worked with St. Lucie County ERD to host Intro to Disc Golf Hikes for more than two dozen people;

  • Added 36 concrete tee pads to the course at Indian Hills Recreation Area

  • Returned dozens of discs back to club members and others through our drop boxes;

  • Hosted the first ever sanctioned tournament at Indian Hills Recreation Area;

  • Raised more than $2,000 for one of our members to help with unexpected medical bills;

  • Created a beautiful tribute/memorial for TCDG member Gary Hudson at Rotary Park;

  • Finished the year in strong financial standing;

  • And more…

But as we stated in the beginning of the letter, let’s all focus on the opportunities we have in 2024. What would you like to see the club accomplish in the coming 12 months? And better yet – how can you help?

The easiest way to help is to renew your Treasure Coast Disc Golf Club Membership. Renewals are under way now through Jan. 31, 2024. (If you renewed or joined the club after Nov. 1, 2023 – your membership is still good through 2024). Current members can renew for $20. New memberships are $25.

Your TCDG membership makes you eligible to the full ace fund payout (and a TCDG Ace pin), gives you a $5 discount on your PDGA Membership renewal and provides the club with the financial support to continue to maintain our courses, cover our operating costs for insurance, host PDGA-sanctioned tournaments and grow the sport.

Like last year, all memberships will come with a Treasure Coast Disc Golf Bag Tag / bottle opener. We are planning to host a tag drop round on Saturday, Feb. 3 at McCarty Ranch. If you can’t make it that day – you can pick up a bag tag from any handicap TD shortly after that event.

All TCDG memberships must be purchased online this year. It is essential for us to keep an updated membership List with correct email addresses, so we can notify you about important club news, including events and tournaments. Please CLICK HERE to complete your membership. Remember, your current membership is good until Jan. 31, 2024. If you wait until February, you will be charged the new member fee ($25).

Again, THANK YOU for your continued support of Treasure Coast Disc Golf,

David Keith
President of TCDG

Also consider joining the PDGA

Becoming a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association comes with additional benefits, including discounted entry into PDGA-events, as well as information about the sport.
